Q:How are you preparing for today's inevitable tornadoes?
“Here! These pipes go down at least thirty feet, if we anchor to them we might have a chance!”
Todd Field is my favorite writer/director of Little Children and In the Bedroom to have a supporting role as a storm chaser in Twister.
This opinion is probably a product of either pure nostalgia or impulse blogging, but Jan de Bont’s Twister and Speed are two of the most well-paced, well-made, and wholly satisfying action movies of the 90s.
The best, of course, is Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
I don’t see why you need ANOTHER bad guy in a movie about people chasing tornadoes. The tornadoes were the bad guy. Nobody cared when Carey Elwes died.
Lauren on Twister
Watching “Twister” blindfolded wouldn’t be bad.
Tornadoes are really loud and characters explain every single thing they see and do.
“Carey Elwes just exploded!”
Things I just realized I want really, really badly: Another Jan de Bont movie.
