The fabric of our lives.
On Saturday afternoon I was sitting with the other campers discussing the cotton industry’s ads. “Why do they need to advertise?” I asked. “What about the other fibers?” We continued chatting about how strange it is that cotton advertises so heavily and wondered why other fibers don’t follow suit.
Another question was asked. “Cotton’s slogan is ‘The fabric of our lives,’ but what would linen’s be?” Emmy had a response almost immediately.
“Wrinkle wrinkle, baby!”
I spent the weekend with large group of kind, amazing, wonderful, hysterical humans at Darci’s Camp Kittenpants and one of them drew this portrait of me on a box of wine that I mixed with club soda and ice because no one’s too cool to enjoy a spritzer.
