Benh Zeitlin’s Beasts of the Southern Wild comes out this weekend and, obviously, I’m very into its score – which was used in the trailer. Since it isn’t streaming or available for purchase, I’m currently ~dealing~ by listening to the scores to Zeitlin’s short films Glory at Sea and Death to the Tinman (the former being the inspiration for Beasts).
He wrote them. He directed them. He composed the scores. He’s 29.
