The new issue of GOOD is on newsstands today and you should buy it because:
- It’s a great issue, obvs.
- It contains an article about McNally Jackson’s book machine.
- Christie and I were given the last page to write and illustrate something funny about time capsules.
As you can tell, I’m exceedingly excited about this. Working with Christie for the first time since college was a treat, and I’m so, so delighted that Ann allowed me write about both Hpnotiq and James Franco in her magazine.

So I wrote this “Build Your Own Time Capsule” thing with my fran/mad good illustrator Christie for the winter edition of GOOD. Working/Google Hangouting with Ann was a lot of fun (hey girl) and I’d like to thank her for printing our jokes about James Franco and Gucci Mane. You can read her discussion of the new issue, The Next Big Thing, here.
The new GOOD is available on iPads now and will hit newsstands in December. It’s pretty cool.
I will keep posting all of Christie’s “Rules Of:” installments until they stop killing me.
