Two things

  1. Francesca, my cubemate, always gets her online purchases gift wrapped if it’s a free option. She says it makes whatever she’s buying more fun to open – more special.
  2. My friend Lauren always puts a $10 or $20 bill in one of her winter coats before putting them away in the spring. Once it gets cold again, wearing it will bring her a pleasant surprise – and possibly a nice hot cup of coffee.
